111325 Private Fidel Luera Mendoza US Army 110th Infantry Regiment from:San Antonio, Texas My uncle Fidel died before I was born, but I remember my father telling me that my my uncle had been a POW in Germany. My father recalled only that his brother mentioned about having to work in the potato fields. My
uncle got sick while a POW but I don't remember what illness he had. I found out later, that he was a prisoner in Stalag 2B but I do not know how long he stayed at that camp. If anyone remembers my uncle, Fidel, please let me know. Thank you
