100713 Bridget Thornton Land Army from:Silverdale My Mother served in the Land Army and was stationed in North Devon.
I believe she resided in Instow at some point.
Unfortunately she has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimers Disease.
We are planning a family 'get together' in the area during September of this year when she will be 80.
Is there anyone out there who perhaps remembers her as a lively young girl who was absolutely thrilled to be in Devon and I know she loved every minute of her time in the WLA.
I know that she often drove a busload of gals around. She left when she was diagnosed with TB.
