100407 May Griffiths Land Army May Griffiths is my mother and will be 80 in January 2009. I intend to throw her a land army themed party and would love to hear from anyone who served in the land army with her.
We are trying to do this in secret as a surprise so cannot ask her too many questions!!!
She joined the land army in 1946 aged 17 and I know she served at Thirsk on a farm and also in Stokesley.
We'd love any friends to come to the party.
