James Richard Mulock
RAF
from:Blackwall, London
Is there anyone out there who remembers our father. He was a hero in Blackwall,London as he joined the Raf and became a pilot. Being from a working class background this was viewed in his home patch to be a wonderful thing. We know as his daughters that the war laid heavy on him and though he was offered a commission at the close of the war he couldn't wait to get back into civvys.
For years he suffered terrible nightmares and would not tell his family of what was troubling him, only other men would he open up too, so we know very little of what happened to him in the war.
He always loved aircraft and went out of his way to go to any airshows in the vicinity. Hoping to hear from anyone that could shed some light unto these days as he is now unable to tell us as he died in 1997.
Marianne Thomas (his eldest daughter)
