In Memory of John Alfred Woodger, Remembered with Honour at Taukkyan War Cemetery.

John Woodger was a Sapper with the Chindit long range Special Forces, 54 Field Coy., Royal Engineers who died on 7th of July 1944 Age 23, of exhaustion, dysentery & beri beri. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Woodger of New Haw, Weybridge, Surrey.
