Harold Felgate died aged 21 years on board the SS Empire Heath. He was a cook and on the 13th May 1944the ship was torpedoed by the German U Boat 129. 57 of the crew were killed.
Harold was born on the in 1923 and was the son of Arthur Felgate and his wife Florence Margaret (nee Thompson).
Harold's death is commemorated on the Tower Hill Memorial.
