Edward Heeley was my third cousin, once removed. He was born on 15th of March 1924 in Newcastle upon Tyne to Edward Albert Heeley and Martha Beveridge Ogden. He was one of 8 children, and the family lived at 20 Shottery Grove, Tyseley, Birmingham.

He died at the 65th British General Hospital in Naples of injuries sustained in a road accident, and was buried in the Naples War Cemetery, Naples, Italy.
