Pte. Kenneth Alexander McCreddie
British Army Royal Army Ordnance Corps
Little is known of Kenneth's wartime activities. I do know he enlisted in March 1942 and served in North Africa. Most of his tales, however, were of what sounded like a rather good time in Italy. He certainly became romantically involved with a local lady called Wilma, and I have a post-war letter from her. I recall him mentioning guarding prisoners of war, and I have a couple of momentoes, an inlaid cigarette box made out of ammunition and a German cross.
