John Edward Redmond Sharvin Royal Air Force No. 269 Squadron from:Strangford, County Down (d.24th Oct 1940) I recently discovered that an ancestor had served and died during the Second World War. I want to make sure that he is remembered. John Sharvin was from my ancestral home in County Down, Northern Ireland. He died overseas on 24th of October 1940, aged 22, a year older than I am now.
