Arthur Frank Blencowe Royal Air Force No. 103 Squadron from:Camberwell (d.26th Apr 1942) Vickers Wellington Mk IC Aircraft, Reg DV579, went missing after having made a bombing mission from RAF Elsham Wold. The aircraft went down in the North Sea NW of Ameland in the Netherlands. It is possible that it was the same Wellington claimed to have been shot down by Uffz Heinz Grimm 5./NJG2 in the North Sea NW of Ameland at 03:37 on 26 April 1942.
