John Flogdell joined the RAF at Cardington, Bedfordshire and posted to RAF Police HQ Burnham in 1941. He was promoted to sergeant and posted to Central Mediterranean Forces (Naples) from 13 Jan 1944 until 02 Oct 1945. His service medals: 1939/45 Star; Italy Star; Defence Medal; and War Medal 39/45.
