Cpl. Clarence Percy "Larry" Smith

British Army 130th Field Ambulance, C Coy. Royal Army Medical Corps

from:Leigh on Sea

A or B Company, 130th Field Ambulance, 43rd Wessex Division

My father, Clarence Smith served in C Company of the 130th Field Ambulance, RAMC. Whilst passing through Vernon, France, he was taken in by a local family with whom he stayed in contact after the war. I am still investigating where else he served, and I believe he was with one of the first RAMC units into Belsen.
