257807 OM4. Reginald Albert Edward Clark Royal Navy HMS Lanka from:Leicester (d.12th February 1944) Reginald Clark is a distant relative of my husband. He was 31 years old, the son of Sydney and Phoebe Clark of Leicestershire, England. He was married to Kate M. A. Clark for only 4 years and left two sons, Philip and Albert. During WW2 Reginald served with the Royal Navy serving aboard HMS Lanka (also known as SS Khedive Ismail). He died 12th of February 1944 when HMS Lanka was sunk by a Japanese submarine. He was aged 31 years and is remembered on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial.
