Alfred Garnett was born in 1900 in England. He graduated from Sandhurst in 1919 and served in Wazeristan 1921 to 19then Burma 1930 to 1932.
He was a WW2 Garrison engineer, serving with the Royal Engineers Bengal Engineer Group, Wellington, Nilgri district, Madras Province, India.
Alfred retired in 1946.
