Harold Elliott
Auxiliary Fire Service
Harold Elliott joined the Auxiliary Fire Service and helped put out the fires in Plymouth in WW2.
He was stationed in Bridge North.
He couldn't enlist in the armed forces because of a perforated ear drum and wanted to help out in any way he could and this was the only way of doing so.
