His Grade Card Stamped Workington Medical Board registration CKT 207 has him place in Grade 1 and date stamped 31st jan 1940. I have movement orders and health certificates signed by Major James H Bennett in March 1946 with a release date noted as Aldershot 19th Mar 1946 I understand that my father served in North Africa and Italy and I see documents referring to moving to Milan from Verona around the 1st March 1946.
