Leslie Ladlow was Mentioned in Dispatches with certificate awarded in November 1944 by 21st Army group from Field Marshal B L Montgomery Commander in Chief. This was awarded for performing outstanding good service, and shown great devotion to duty during the campaign in North West Europe. He was a dispatch rider.
