British Army 6th (Pioneer) Btn. Kings Own Royal (Lancaster) Regiment

Frederick Platt trained at the The Kings Own Training Centre and served with the 6th Pioneer Btn, Kings Own Royal (Lancaster) Regiment. His trade on enlistment was Electrician. He was taken as a Prisoner of War on the 26th of April 1940 and held at Stalag XXA. A metal tag in my possession records his P.O.W. Number 7470. He was transferred to Stalag XXB. I have this information from my step father's war record.
