250807 Cpl. John Joseph Lowdon Bullock British Army Tyneside Scottish Battalion Black Watch from:33 robinson St, Blaydon on Tyne. Joe Bullock joined up 1939 and was wounded and taken prisoner on 20th of May 1940 outside Arras, near Ficheux and Mercatel. He was taken to Stalag xxb where he was put to work on a farm. He marched on the Long March to freedom. He lived through it and was liberated by the American army.
