Tel. Robert Charles Emerson

Royal Navy HMS Scotia

from:Lee, London

I have found my Dad, Bob Emerson's diary dating from 11th of December 1942 to December 1943. He was trained at Collingwood, class 185 11th of December 1942 to 1st of May 1943, as a telegraphist, he was 18 in January 1943. From there he went to HMS Scotia, Doonfoot, Ayr until 15th of July, 1943. He mentions Dunkley, Atkinson and Heatlie in his diary during his time at Collingwood, I wonder if any of their families will read this.
