Vernon Davison Royal Air Force 154 Squadron from:Hornchurch (d.30th March 1943) Vernon Brooker was my Uncle, he was sent to the USA in 1941 with the Arnold Scheme to learn to fly, he was washed out and re-appeared at BFTS 1 in Terrell Texas. He married my Mothers sister and within 2 weeks was sent to North Africa with 154 Squadron, at the age of 20yrs old was shot down in his Spitfire by German predicted Flak near Sedjenane.
