247394 Pte. Norman Coles British Army Somerset Light Infantry from:Weston super Mare My father Norman Coles has recently died aged 99. He spent 5 years in Stalag XXB, 441 Marionburg having survived the march from Belgium. His P.O.W. No. was 7899 He mentioned working on a farm sleeping in a hut on the farm. We have found a photograph that was sent home to his mother. He is seated at the right hand end of that line. He did mention that the guards brought a set of uniforms for them to wear for the photograph but took them away afterwards.
