CPO. Frederick John Howard Bidgood
Royal Navy HMS Ramilies
from:Portsmouth
My dad, Frederick Bidgood was in a band called the Wreckateers playing guitar. Whilst in Canada he stayed with family who had a 78 disc recorder I have copies of the music disc they made.
Whilst my father was working in Victory Barracks in Portsmouth he was given permission for my baptism to take place on board HMS Victory in Captain Hardy's cabin with the use of the ship bell as a font.
