Gunner Douglas Percy Arnold

Royal Artillery 28th Field Regiment

from:Child Oakford Dorset

(d.4th Dec 1942)

Douglas Arnold died so young at Macerata Sforzacosta Prisoner of War Camp. 22 Years Old Thousands of miles away from home. A life wasted but always remembered. Not even a photograph remains of this young man in our family records who died long before my birth. Not even a photograph of his headstone. If anyone has any information I would be grateful. Final resting place after exhumation from Macerata on January 1st 1945 at Ancona War Cemetry Plot 3 Row A Grave 12.
