Sig. Jarvis "Jim" Boam MiD.

Royal Navy HMS Havock

from:Nottingham

My father, Signalman Jarvis Boam, served on H.M.S Havock and spent time in the Laghouat camp. He spent his 21st birthday in solitary confinement for trying to escape. I have a few photos of him and other internee's and the battles in that area. Sadly Dad passed away in 1969, aged 48, so I'm not able to get any other information.

Just served 14 days for escape attempt
