William Cyril Hindes British Army Gordon Highlanders from:Kingston,Surrey (d.9th February 1945) William Hindes served in India with the Gordon Highlanders then was seconded to the 2nd Dorset Regiment, B Company for the Burma campaign. He was killed in action on the 2nd February 1945 on the banks of the Irrawaddy just prior to the final assault to Mandalay and Rangoon.
