All I know about him during the war was that he was a Leading Writer on H.M.S Lanka died on 12th of February 1944 Aged 30. Before the war he lived in Sanderstead and was son of Fredrick Ernest and Margaret Cooke also husband of Beryl Joan Cooke and was a former pupil of Battersea Grammar School.
