F/O. James Burleigh Hill

Royal Canadian Air Force 166 Squadron

from:Boharm, SK, Canada

(d.26th Oct 1944)

Burleigh Hill is my Great Uncle. His younger brother Doug was in training with the RCAF when Burleigh's Lancaster did not report back from Ops on the 26th of Oct 1944. His belongings were sent back to the family home in Boharm SK where they have been kept with different family members ever since. Doug named my dad after his James and I was named Robert Burleigh Hill continuing the name down the family line.
