Family stories tell of a lovely man who went off to war, Fred Hooper served in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment as a Rifleman when enroute home he got killed at Dover when the train he was on to come home was bombed. Other than this, unfortunately we have no more information about Fred. The UK Army Roll of Honour states - Regiment at Death: Rifle Brigade (Prince Consort's Own)
