P/O. Douglas W. Peers

Royal Air Force 101 Squadron

from:Canada

(d.13th Aug 1944)

I am a currently serving RCAF Flight Engineer currently researching Mr D.W. Peers, a Canadian who was a Flt Sgt that became a Plt Officer with 101 Squadron, lost over Germany in a Lancaster and buried in Brunswick, Germany. I possess his training leather flying helmet that I am planning to present to his only daughter and grandson as a family memento. I'm hoping to have more of his history for his shadow box of when he was with 101 Squadron in order to help them get more information of the father/grandfather they never met.
