He has four medals awarded one was in 1960 Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE), Military Division, Army, Captain William Kelly (379383), Corps of Royal Engineers.
I also know on the 27th April 1947- he was made a 2nd Lt, as referenced in the London Gazette- 14064223- William Kelly (379383)
He worked in the Royal Engineers and was from Glasgow, Scotland.
He was well known for how handsome he was, almost movie star good looks.
