Aircraftman 2nd Class Shea was the Son of Patrick and Mary Shea, of Ballyhearth, Clonfanlough, Co. Westmeath.
He was 28 when he died and is buried in Clonmacnoise (Old Abbey) Graveyard, Co. Offaly, Ireland.
AC2 Shea was serving with 935 Balloon Sqn, based in Bristol when he was knocked down by a motor vechicle on 24th October 1940, at Patchway, in Bristol.
