Eddie Buxton died 19th February 1944 at the age of 31 while serving with 5th Btn. Seaforth Highlanders. He is buried in St. Bartholomew's Churchyard, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. He was the son of Charles Edward and Alice Buxton, elder brother of Bert L. Buxton and husband of Kathleen May Buxton(Nee Harvey), all of New Whittington, Chesterfield. I do not know where he died nor the circumstances of his death.
