Harry James Blackman - my father - served in Norway 1940 and then in North Africa where he became a POW. Sent to POW camp in Italy (Cressina near Bari) then onto a POW camp in Germany (Stalag 142).
Married after war to my mother - Ada- and had two sons Harry and Peter (me).
