Capt. Kenneth August Pfleger DFC. Air Medal

US Army Air Force 92 Bomb Group 407th Bomb Squadron

from:Rochester, NY, USA

My father, Kenneth A. Pfleger, was a bombardier with the 407th Squadron, 92nd Bombardment Group stationed at Bovingdon. He kept one bomb pin from each mission, writing the mission name and type and number of bombs dropped on each label. He won the DFC and the Air Medal with 3 oak leaf clusters. Also the Presidential Citiation for the group.

I have the bomb pins, a silk flag of France and a few other items now.
