238676 Fus. Robert Tonge British Army 11th Btn. Lancashire Fusiliers from:Droylsden, Manchester (d.14th Oct 1944) Robert Tonge was my great grandfather's brother. He was from Manchester and served in the Lancashire Fusiliers 11th Battalion. We know very little else of his story apart from what is shown on his war records. Robert died at war on October 14th 1944 aged 29 years. He is buried in Faenza war cemetery in Italy. We would love to hear any shared memories that have made their way down the line or see any photographs.
