Fus. Henry Hall

British Army B Company Royal Welsh Fusiliers

from:Marston Green

(d.16th Sep 1944)

My great uncle Harry Hall was killed in action on 16th September 1944. He was in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers and had just been selected to serve as a Sniper. I have a letter from their Major explaining how he was killed. This was posted to he Mother after his death. Basically, that morning had been quiet so everyone was enjoying breakfast. Unfortunatly the first shell of the day exploded over my uncle, killing him. He is buried in Antwerppen Cemetery, Antwerp.
