238228 Pte. Moeremans Belgian Army My father was a soldier in the Belgian infantry. He fought the complete Belgian campaign from 10th of May 1940 till the surrender of the Belgian army on 18th of May 1940. He was taken prisoner and send to Germany, held at Schleswig Holstein in Stalag 10 B. After a while the Germans put him in a work kommando and he had to work at a farm nearby. Belgian soldiers with a Flemish origin were liberated in 1941. The only souvenir I have got from that period is a money note for prisoners.
