Able Seaman Peter Cormack was 21 when he died and is buried in the Klaksvik Cemetery in the Faroe Islands. The SS Sauternes was a 1,049 grt steam cargo ship that went missing after sailing from Methil on 2 December 1941 bound for Faeroes.
