Pte. Samuel Maurice "Mic" Spicer

British Army 7th Btn. Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders

from:Bath

(d.12th January 1945)

Samuel Spicer was my grandfather. He was proud to serve his country and defend his honour. He left behind a very young wife (my grandmother) and my father who was just 3 years old when he lost his dad.

Samuel (Mic) loved life, fun and ginger biscuits and I follow him in looks and personality. I am the last in his line of Spicers and so, even though married, I kept his name to honour his memory.
