Wayne Russell Dillon

United States Army 134th Infantry

My father, Wayne Russell Dillon, was at Fort Snelling, MN. He left for overseas duty on June 29th, I believe in 1944. He was in the 134th Infantry serving General Patton's Third Army and took part in several battles at the front in St Lo. He was reported missing in action in Germany on 28th September and his family was informed he was a POW on 23rd October at Stalag 2B. On papers I have it says "Induction 11/17/43, Active Service 12/8/43, and Separation 10/27/45". Just curious to know if anyone remembers him or has photos. Dad wouldn't talk much at all about the war. He passed away April 1990.
