222958 Pte. Judson Harmon "Gentile Jud" Rumsey US Army 2nd. Squadron 423rd Infantry Regt from:Long Beach, Cal. (d.May 1945) My Grandfather Judson H Rumsey was captured during the Battle of the Bulge on December 19 1944. Coincidentally this was my mothers birthday. At the time of his capture he was marched from the train station with his fellow P.O.W.'s many who had no boots because they were taken from them by their capturers. He died in May 1945 while imprisoned at Bad Orb in Stalag 9b POW camp.
