William Hudson died aged 23 whilst serving with the Royal Artillery.
Born in Jarrow in 1918 he was the son of James and May Hudson (nee Hunton) of Jarrow.
William is remembered on the Alamein Memorial and is is commemorated on the WW2 Roll of Honour Plaque in the entrance of Jarrow Town Hall.
