Pvt. Vincent J Siminitus

United States Army Infantry Division Band Dental Co.

from:Minersville, PA

My Great Uncle, Vincent Joseph Siminitus, was a POW in WWII. He passed away at age 87 on March 8, 2013. I have recently found out more information, he was in camp Stalag 2b Hammerstein in West Prussia. He was part of Group Regiment Commands System, Branch Immaterial Infantry Division Band Dental Company. First Report was 10-12-1944, Last Report 5-16-1945. He was European Theatre France. This information is very new to me and anyone who has more info or can better explain all this is greatly appreciated, Thank you.
