No. 263 Squadron Royal Air Force    No. 263 Squadron reformed as a fighter squadron at RAF Filton on 20th of October 1939 and were initially equipped with Gloster Gladiator Mk.Is, being re-equipped with Westland Whirlwinds and then Hawker Typoons.
