802 Harold John Thomas Wood Army 2nd Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers (d.5th October 1918) Harold John Thomas Wood, Service number 16677, served with the 2nd Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers. He died on October 5th 1918 and is buried in Doingt Cemetery, near Peronne, Somme, France. He was the elder brother of my wife's grandmother and it would be fitting if he could be listed with those others who fought with the Fusiliers in the Great War.
