Gnr. Victor Charles Huggett
British Army 49th Siege Battery Royal Garrison Artillery

Victor Huggett attested on 24th of June 1916 and was called up to join the Royal Field Artillery at Woolwich on 11th of Apr 1917. He then transferred to the 5th Army Pool Royal Garrison Artillery on 2nd of June 1917 and embarked for France on the same day.
He died in 18 Corps main dressing station on 19th of October 1917 whilst serving with 49th Siege Battery. Presumably of wounds received during the 3rd Battle of Ypres.
He left behind his wife Lillian and 2 daughters Victoria (b 1914) and Doris (b 1916).
