James Rhodes originally joined up in 1915 when he was still 16 and was reported by his mother and discharged from 15th Brigade RFA for being under age.
As soon as he was old enough he signed up again.
He is buried at Zonnebeke in Belgium.
He died of wounds. This is all the information we have. He was my paternal grandmother's brother.
