Mt Grandfather, Cecil John Benge served with the 10th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers
I have his medals but no service records
I believe he was wounded twice and married Catherine Ross in Dingwall, Scotland in 1918
They both worked on the buses where as Cecil was very active in the founding of the LTW&GW Union in 1924 with Ernest Bevan.
After the war he lived in Glossop Road, Sanderstead, Surrey until his death
