Terence Guthrie joined up with the South Lancashire Regiment Service. He was seconded to the 1st Battalion, South Wales Borderers. He was awarded the Military Medal for operations on 18th of April 1918.
He was killed in action on the 115th of September 1918, aged 19, at Maissemy, France, and is remembered at Vadencourt British Cemetery.
